SVP/VP Financial Analytics
Reporting directly to the Managing Principal and Founder, as the Senior Vice President of Financial Analytics, you will play a crucial role in establishing our fractional advisory business around CFO Advisory, with a keen focus on Strategic Finance, Analytics, Planning and Forecasting. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced finance professional.
How you'll contribute:
Client Finance Analytics Advisory: Work with clients. Helping to:
Build Core finance infrastructure, for example Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting models, Analytics models and Long-Range planning models
Build processes including business reviews, pitch decks, fund raising proformas
Finalize Chart of Accounts, basic accounting structure
Provide guidance and support in evaluating strategic business decisions, launching new products and services, managing expenses and benchmarking compensation
Analyze any M&A opportunities, performing due diligence, building projections and models
Evaluate and recommend path towards ERP and Planning systems and implementation
Conduct vendor procurement analysis, contract negotiations
Manage cash positioning including operating runway calculations and projections
Ensure regulatory and tax compliance
Analyze business expansion opportunities
Business Development: Expand the core business by soliciting new opportunities:
Leverage formal and informal networks
Participate in business forums and present Echelon’s USP
Provide thought leadership and advise
Travel and meet with potential clients
Internal Leadership: Build the Echelon Brand:
Provide support for internal business processes
Conduct interviews for internal hires and help in identifying and selecting candidates
Provide internal analytics oversight
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s Degree in Business or Finance/CPA/CMA
Experience:
10+ Years of relevant experience in finance analytics, planning and strategic finance functions
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Experience in building and leading budgeting, planning, and forecasting for businesses of different scale (early stage to Fortune 50)
Experience in building complex financial and analytical models
Experience in leveraging ERP and Planning tools
Public company experience
Recruiting experience, including identifying, interviewing and developing talent
